Our History
Our company is founded, introducing an early Take-off and Landing Performance app with Mass & Balance.
Nokia launched one of the first mass-market smartphones running Symbian OS Series 60, marking a major leap in mobile functionality.
We change our name to International Flight Support.
During that period, Class 2 EFBs, laptops with dedicated flight performance apps, became increasingly common in commercial aviation.
We launch our first Windows-based EFB, integrating take-off and landing performance, loadsheet planning, full pre/in/post-flight reporting tools, and document management.
This aligns with industry tech trends, as laptops were becoming more capable and reliable, enabling fully integrated EFB solutions around that time.
We release our first iOS version, making our EFB solutions available on iPad.
The iPad was introduced in 2010, providing accessible, touch-based hardware ideal for cockpit use. Its portability, touchscreen interface, and strong battery life quickly made it a popular platform for EFBs in aviation.
We launch EFBOne, our all-in-one platform.
By 2020, cloud connectivity and mobile ecosystems had matured, shaping next-generation aviation tools. This environment supported the move toward consolidated, cloud-enabled EFB platforms like EFBOne.
